With a passion for ecological design, attention to detail, and long-term customer care, it has seen their team of dedicated green roof professionals work throughout buildings in the US - Boston, New England, and beyond.

The Challenge

Recover Green Roofs provide the design and installation of green roofs for commercial, residential and institutional buildings alike. Once installed, the roofs are put onto a scheduled planned maintenance program.

They were using Google Documents to manually input data on each project and there were often issues with information not being available to the required team members out in the field whilst working in offline mode.

Also to meet their client's demands and keep up with comprehensive planned maintenance schedules, they needed an easy way to manage scheduled jobs and the overall details for a job, such as the required documentation to be completed. Insight and visibility of upcoming planned maintenance on client sites and the allocation of the specific skilled team members was of upmost importance too.

Their existing process was taking around 45 minutes a week, inputting all of their data in their jobs sheets. These and other larger reports were taking a few hours a week to format and complete.

Realising the value of using job management software for their field service teams to enhance and streamline their business processes, Recover Green Roofs deployed Klipboard with a range of mobile forms that were created to their exact requirements and a custom PDF design using our mobile workflow form builder.

They instantly saw the benefit of being able to assign a field technician a scheduled job with all the relevant job details, directions, notes, and more, but also importantly with a mobile form for data capture on a mobile app. The technician has the ability to complete the relevant form documentation on site using the Klipboard mobile app, even without internet connection, and then do a real time sync back to the office, where it can be reviewed and approved for completion.
