Rhino Piling are a specialist piling contractor based in the North West of England working directly for homeowners and builders.

They provide an unrivalled service to make the installation of foundations a straightforward process. A highly qualified and well trained team of piling specialists, they work closely with structural engineers to produce a high quality service, no matter how challenging the job.

The Challenge

Ensuring effective planning of resources for the varying projects and scheduling of the jobs to skilled team members was proving difficult. The piling team were being issued a range of jobs at various project phases using paper work orders which they collected when visiting the office.

Paper copies of work orders, drawings and picking lists were being allocated in a folder to the relevant teams for each project. The paperwork was returned to the office and the task of re-entering the data into a word document was time consuming.

This resulted in mistakes on the job sheets when they are returned, human error when performing data entry and lost hard copies of paperwork ultimately resulting in delayed sending of invoices which creates a pressure on cash flow.
